We have a pickleball set now that is free to borrow from the library. Come and get it today! It comes with two balls, two paddles, a net and instructions. It can easily be set up in the new Barnwell “Pickle Barn” so come and borrow it today.
Summer Reading Program ends August 8
It’s been a busy summer at the library. The kids have had a great time with Jenna, Eliza and many helpers. Activities ranged from climbing into tractors, reading books, making marine life crafts and playing water games. We had record attendance too so thank you to all the parents who sent their kids to this fun and free program.

Art in the Library
I hope everyone has had a chance to see Colleen Yuill’s artwork. She does amazing scratchboard art. There are lots of pictures to see and a few are for sale too. We also have a great display of wood carvings by local Bob Hansen.
Did you know…
With your library card you have access to free museum passes, swim passes, ski passes and skating passes. Come in and talk to Kim about how to get one of these.
All Barnwell School students get a free library card!
The Library sells Barnwell Fitness Center passes, you can get 3 month passes starting at $100.
We love donations of books and dvds. Thanks to all who have donated this summer.
You can read the Lethbridge Herald (during the school months) and the Taber Times (weekly) at the library
Library cards are $10 for the whole year and you can access all Chinook Arch libraries with your card.
